The Community Affairs Commission of St. Patrick Church shall engage in the endeavor of inspiring and initiating programs so that all members of the parish community may participate intelligently, conscientiously, and actively in the life of the natural community around them, extending even beyond Parish boundaries to the poor, disabled, immigrants and marginalized in our towns, state, nation, and world. The Commission shall sustain operation of existing programs currently in operation in the Parish but are not limited to:

• NH Catholic Charities

• Share Outreach

• Diocesan Secretariat of Human Services

• Diocesan Secretariat of Community Services

The Commission shall endeavor to initiate and promote efforts in areas including, but not limited to, the following: Educate parishioners in local state, and national issues.

• Promote lobbying on state and federal bills which affect our communities (Diocese of Manchester Secretariat for Human Services and Secretariat for Community Services).
• Help in community appeals such as the yearly New Hampshire Catholic Charities Appeal  and Share Outreach.
• Provide leadership and volunteers to the Tusday Night Community Supper.
• Provide representation to the community organizations such as CAST and the Souhegan Valley Boys & Girls Club.
• Evaluate and promote the participation of parishioners on the work of ecumenical committees and projects.
• Promote consumer education programs.
