The Social Committee of Saint Patrick Parish has an important role in the mission of the parish as set out in its Constitution; that is, to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ in union with the entire church. We accomplish that mission in the form of a community, a Parish community which has an important element - its social activities.

The purpose of the Social Committee is to minister to the building of our Christian community through social events. Their responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Coffee and donuts following the 8:00am Mass

• St. Patrick's Day Dinner

• Ham and Bean Supper

• Simple Lenten Suppers

• Trunk or Treat at Halloween
   

• Refreshments for workshops

• Hospitality - possible responsibilities:

• Welcoming new parishioners

• Presence at all parish events

• Maintain a parish bulletin board with parish activities
