The Social Committee of Saint Patrick Parish has an important role in the mission of the parish as set out in its Constitution; that is, to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ in union with the entire church. We accomplish that mission in the form of a community, a Parish community which has an important element - its social activities.
The purpose of the Social Committee is to minister to the building of our Christian community through social events. Their responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Coffee and donuts following the 8:00am Mass
St. Patrick's Day Dinner
Ham and Bean Supper
Simple Lenten Suppers
Trunk or Treat at Halloween
Refreshments for workshops
Hospitality - possible responsibilities:
Welcoming new parishioners
Presence at all parish events
Maintain a parish bulletin board with parish activities
